Vintage Conn 76H Symphony Trombone "duo bore".. he serial number of 243xxx dates this instrument from 1927.

It is a medium/ small-bore instrument with a 7.5" bell ALTHOUGH its one of Conn's somewhat larger tenor models. .522 and .547 boreTuning is in the hand-slide and works very well. This allows an ideal conical flare in the bell as well as adding to the resonance of the bell section. The bell really rings. Feels nice.Slide action is good, 8/10.

There is a patch just above where the bell section joins the slide (pictured) where there was a puncture in the brass.

Plays wonderfully! Very rich resonant tone.
