Boat is in New Orleans, Louisiana. Selling my "floating condo". Bought this boat as an alternative to renting while I attended grad school. Did some work on it, mostly interior. It's nice, but still a bit of a project. Good New electric marine head and lectra san waste unit. No smelly holding tank under the center line queen in the aft stateroom, but the forward head still has a holding tank. Best of both worlds. New teak parquet floor in galley and aft stateroom New teak companionway ladder. New curtains, New high-density foam cushions in v-berth new sunbrella-type fabric for making covers.
New shower boxes fore and aft. Some new electrical, including new charger/converter and led lighting. New plumbing, Newer apt-sized fridge, microwave, and convection oven. New automatic bilge pumps Lots of room. Carver's 3607 is the roomiest layout of any
36 footer Clean. Not So Good- Only one engine works port side. Original genset is aboard, but inop. All three installed ACs inop although the pumps work. Hydraulic steering isn't hooked up, Some port lights need replacement, Soft spot on starboard side deck. All-in-all, a lot of boat for the price. Way below NADA value and below the survey, too. Sure, she's a dock queen right now, but Timshel is essentially a studio
apartment for the price of a good used car. And with some love, she'd be fun on the lake, too. My monthly housing expenses including slip fees, electric, insurance, and loan payment are about $500. Comes with all furniture and linens. Where else are you
going to live in New Orleans for that without a roommate, especially with the great view I have
